Possums
The common ringtail possum is called 'Ringtail' because of their long curled tail.

Ringtail possums are coverd in fur and they are warm blooded (unlike snakes). Ringtails feed their young with milk and are mammals.
The Common Brush tail possums are found in Australia in cities.
Ringtail possums grow up to 35cm long. Ringtail possums feed on a viriety of trees especially gum trees. Common ringtails spend their days resting in their nest. This is called a drey.
Possums are one of the best known Australian animals.
They are found in Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia and South Australia.
There are several species of Ringtails. The common ringtail is mostly found in forests and shrub areas around Australia, but is mostly found in rainforests, where it is protected from it's many, many predators.
Ringtails are marsupial mammals.
