Education Centre. Let me tell you about the Environmental Education Centre.
What is the Boyne Island Environmental Education Centre?
BIEEC is a curriculum-support facility operated by Education Queensland
designed to give students, teachers and community members access to high-quality
environmental education.
Environmental education centres provide opportunities for exciting, enjoyable
and challenging first-hand experiences with various aspects of the environment.
The work done at BIEEC complements school-based programs.
Location
The campus covers 3 hectares of landscaped eucalypt bushland amid the
industrial, suburban setting on Boyne Island, population 7000. The island,
10kms long and 5kms wide, is located in the mouth of the Boyne River, 20
