Computing Studies - 2/3 Unit

There is a growing demand for people who can not only use technology efficiently and effectively, but who also understands the theoretical basis underlying computing and its application. The 2 Unit Computing Studies course emphasises the use of Computer Software and tools to solve practical problems.

YEAR 11 PRELIMINARY COURSE

Students will do the Preliminary course from Term 1-3 in Year 11 and then the 2 Unit Course in Term 4 (Year 11) and Year 12.

The Preliminary course is designed to provide a common core of knowledge, understanding, skills and attitudes about computer-based systems.
