Cerdon College offers the study of two languages - French and Italian.

- Cultural tours to France and Italy
One of our annual events is the Italian Camp.

Please note: at the end of Year 7, students must choose either French or Italian for the mandatory 100 hours in Year 8.
What are our aims?
- To improve communication skills in all four components:
- listening
- speaking
- reading
- writing
- To learn about other cultures and traditions
- To understand other ways of life leading to an appreciation of and respect for differences between people
- To contribute to a better understanding of English, by contrast and comparison
- To enjoy language learning and see it as a positive and meaningful experience
