Mathematics

The College caters for all levels of students. The classes are set out as follows:

  • Pre schools
  • St Mary's Cathedral
  • Katoomba in the Blue Mountains
  • Royal Easter Show

• Mathematics In Society:
  • Sydney Observatory

• 2/3 Unit:
  • Sydney Aquarium

Year 12:

4 Unit:

• Talented Students Day

At all times the students are encouraged to use technology including the Internet and graphic calculators.

Assessments tasks include written tests, investigations and practical activities. Students are encouraged to participate in the Australian Mathematics Competition.

We are currently participating with the Australian Catholic University in trialing new resources for the teaching of mathematics.
