Photography

Photography may be elected as a 1 Unit course in Year 11.

This course involves both :

Theoretical and
Practical components.

The course covers the following topic areas:

camera use
how to make a good negative

printing quality Black & White photographs.
using studio lighting creatively

studying other photographers' work
experiment with creative photographic techniques
career opportunities

Assessment includes:

practical tasks,

research assignments

and written examination

Requirements

All students are required to keep a record of their research and practical work.
Purchase a text book for the course.

Visual Arts Process Diary
All students are required to keep a Visual Arts Process Diary for the duration of each course. Their diary is used for planning and reflective purposes and provides evidences of the range of learning activities undertaken.
