Debating

The girls at Cerdon participate in two major debating competitions. Our senior girls are involved in the state-wide Commonwealth Bank Senior debating Competition.

Students in Years 7 to 10 compete in the Sydney-wide Catholic Schools debating Competition which involves over 70 schools. We have had some great results. Last year, 5 out of 8 teams made it to the finals, earning us the prestigious Junior Aggregate Shield. For two years running, one of our teams has made it to the Grand Final.

• That the novel is a dying art form.
