Library Information for Staff

Discuss your research with the Teacher-Librarian prior to setting an assignment and making a library booking. We can discuss:

• Goals
• Information Skills
• Resources/Equipment Needs
• Co-operative Teaching/Learning

Borrowing: Staff may borrow up to 20 items.

Loan Period:

• Books - up to all year
• Videos - 1 lesson
• AV Equipment - 1 lesson
• Cassette Tapes - 1 lesson

All the above are negotiable.

Audio Services:

• TV taping
• Recording of Satellite Curriculum and Professional Information
• Equipment:
  • Cassette Recorders
  • CD Players
  • Video Cameras
  • Slide Projectors

The TV and Equipment Booking sheets are both kept in the AV Room.

Booking the Library:

• Book your class in any of the areas on the Booking Sheet in the AV Room.
• Remember that the main body of the Library is for individual silent research.
• Book the Research Room for any discussion and group work.
