Cerdon's Internet Use Policy for Students


The College encourages its students to use the Internet for research purposes. The following Acceptable Use Policy has been designed to make our students aware of the ethical issues related to the use of the Internet.

  1. Students may access the Internet for legitimate educational purposes only:
  2. Students must request teacher's permission to use news groups, download files or send and receive e-mail.

  3. Students' names and personal details may not be communicated to others on the network.

  4. Students are not permitted to order material from any site.

  5. Students must act with honesty, integrity and respect for the rights of others including other users of the Internet.

  6. Any breaching of the above may result in restrictions or withdrawal of Internet access.
