Welcome to Mel's School Page!Well, school - hmmm..... I go to a catholic all girl's school called Cerdon College. I'm in Yr11 which makes me a SENIOR!!! At the start of this year when being a senior was a new thing to us, we were very excited that we received special privileges. Wearing a different uniform, having our own "Senior Line" at the canteen and of course having the little yr7's part the way when you walk past them or saying sorry when they bump into you are all great privileges we get now that we are SENIORS!!! Anyway, enough of that boasting!!
I do 12 Units at school, these are:
Of course by doing 12 Units I get study lessons (or as we call them FREES)!!! I get 7 frees as I have to come to school at 7:30am every 2nd Wednesday for an Exploring class which wouldn't fit on the timetable. That's a bummer especially when it's cold!!! When I leave school I'd like to do Child Care. In Year 10 I went to a Pre School for Work Experience and loved it. This year I want to go to a Day Care Centre so I can see which one I like better and would like to work in.
Overall, school isn't that bad but there is a big jump from Yr10 to Yr11 in the amount of homework and assessments we need to complete.
