Conditions for Registration for 10Mb Free Web Space
We wish to actively discourage schools from using this space to put up a school home page that acts ONLY as a school prospectus. This is of little benefit to students and will not support teachers in their efforts to learn how the web may be used in classrooms. In order for you to be eligible for a Schools on the Web web space, you must agree to the following conditions:

1. A web site will be provided to each applicant school to be used for teacher and student publishing. We would expect students to be involved in curriculum based web publishing projects. Teachers requiring web space for their own development should go to Teachers on the Web.
2. There is a limit of one web site per school and the program is only available to registered K-12 schools in Australia.
3. Each school will need to provide one teacher who will act as the contact point for the site. This teacher must have access to an email account.
4. Schools will be expected to manage their own web space including backup of files and no support is guaranteed.
5. The web space may be cancelled by the organisers at any time if schools mount inappropriate material or fail to use the site for student publishing purposes. Due notice will be given to schools in this situation.
