ABORIGINAL ADVISOR:

Mr M Crawford

ROLE:

Co-ordinator for the school ASSPA ,(Aboriginal Student Support & Parental Awareness), program.

Mr Crawford's role is to inform the staff, students and parents of the Education policy, and the opportunities available in the local area (scholarships,training & development, work, etc.)

Meetings are held every six weeks. Topics which are usually discussed are important features governing the way we use funding for Aboriginal students. Other topics discussed are the ways which schooling can be made more pleasurable for the Aboriginal students.

Our Aboriginal students regularly attend camps to develop
their leadership skills and knowledge of the Aboriginal culture
