Food Technology has always been a popular subject. Year 7 Design & Technology students do some Food Tech, and then can choose it as an elective in Years 9 and 10. Corrimal High is doing very well in the Food Technology area. Year 12 students had recently been asked to cater for 200 guest at the Apprentice and Trainee of the year Award presentation for the Illawarra region in June. We always enter several Year 10 teams for the AGC's Culinary Chefs Award - working to a budget and time limit they are required to plan, prepare and cook an original 3 course meal which has visual flair and tastes good. Corrimal High students do extremely well in Food Technology.
Textiles and Design (Year 11 and 12)
Students in Year 12 have complete their major works for the year. An amazing array of designs was created &emdash; from a christening gown smocked with gold thread to a blue-sequined Mardi Gras costume.

Hospitality (Year 11 and 12)
A Vocational Education subject which is dual-accredited. It requires students to complete 2 weeks Work Placement in a local restaurant or club.
Life Management Skills (Year 11 and 12)
Students learn a range of valuable skills, and complete a project of their own choosing.
