The courses cover at some depth the serious application of computers in industry and business & as a problem-solving tool. This requires study of both hardware & software, programming and applications such as word processing, data bases, spreadsheets, communication, graphics and robotics. Systematic analysis of situations is emphasised, leading to development of computer-based solutions. Computers are used to apply and practise the skills & knowledge learnt, and are a necessary part of this 2 and 3-unit course.

Computing Studies is available in 11 as 2 unit (preliminary), year 12 as 2 unit (General), 2/3 unit (Common) and 3 unit.
