For a number of years Corrimal High school has organised and presented Integration day to help Year 6 students become acquainted with the high school . Each year almost 200 students from the six local primary schools, come to the school to see the facilities and meet the students and staff. Year 6 students were involved in visual art and computer activities, visited the Agriculture plot, enjoyed Science experiments and toured the Industrial Arts block. Sporting activities and a concert were organised as well. At other times of the year groups of year 7 students return to their primary schools to answer questions and talk about their experiences in high school.
During this week, year 11 students form teams and work to develop and market a product a number of business people in the local community provide advice and act as mentors for the students. Last year two students represented Corrimal High in the Australian Business Week Competition and won a number of awards.

From year 7 to 11 all students participate in a number of debates, culminating in a Grand Final to determine the best team in each year. From this experience students have improved their team work, oral expression and powers of logical thinking. We regularly enter teams in debating competition in the local area. The team below were the winners of the Corrimal Lions Club debating shield.
