Things to do in the Illawarra

Beaches

Lake Illawarra
The clear waters and clean ocean waves which draw hundreds to our shore every year. It has a temperate temperature which allows all year round surfing.

A beautiful lake for all water lovers. It is the centre of many activities such as fishing, snorkelling, swimming and sailing

Spring into Corrimal

"Spring into Corrimal" is a local carnival which draws thousands of people to join in the celebration of spring. Everyone enjoys strolling along the road, tasting Indian and Asian foods, and brousing through the stalls. There is a parade with floats, classic cars, marching girls, Tai Kwon Do teams, and motorbike displays. Adding to the atmosphere are the jazz and brass bands, country and western singers and local celebrities.
