Students are encouraged to play team sports such as basketball, soccer, football and volleyball. Each year there are 3 major sports carnivals: athletics, swimming and cross country. Our best competitors go on to compete at district level, and many reach the Zone competition.

Corrimal High is home to many talented sporting prospects. Some have represented our State and some have represented Australia The following are the elite of Corrimal sporting talent.

Erin in Year 11 was selected for the Australian School girls' Soccer team, and toured England, Wales and Scotland in 1999.

Rob in Year 10 was chosen for the NSW Combined High Schools Cricket team and toured South Africa in 1999

Corrimal High School's Open Rugby League and Girls Soccer Commonwealth Bank Cup teams have done very well over the past years.

The Under 14 Girls Soccer team reached the State quarter finals in the NSW Soccer Federation Shield in 1999.
