Welcome to the Dapto High School web site.
As the ninth appointed principal to Dapto High School I am delighted to be able to report that in 2007, our 50th year, staff and students and parents are working hard and achieving some great things. Working at Dapto High School is both exhilarating and exhausting; I enjoy every aspect, rarely an easy day, never a dull day. Our community is changing and growing and DHS reflects those changes. Our proud history of serving this community is the firm base from which we face the future. In May 2008 we plan a series of events to celebrate; ’50 years service to our community’.
Our motto "Strive for Higher Things" provides a useful guide. All students and staff are expected to work hard and skilfully to extend themselves. "Expecting a lot of each other" is the phrase I use. Dapto is not a perfect school but we are really focused on developing a culture which has learning right at the centre.
