Student Council - SRC
|
The student Representative Council is made up of two representatives from Years 7-10, five representatives from Year 11, and five from Year 12, from whom the President and Vice President are chosen, making a total council of eighteen representatives. The secretary and treasurer are chosen from the Year 11 representatives. Elections are held annually, councillors may seek re-election. Student suggestions for changes in school administration must come through the Council - see the councillors representing your year. Councillors play an active role in all school committees. An SRC student forms part of the school executive committee when invited by the Principal. The SRC is a dynamic force within DHS. Meetings are held once every two weeks. Students are advised to choose their representatives carefully. |
