The Dickson College website complies with the requirements for Commonwealth and ACT Government websites namely the Privacy Act 1988 and the Privacy Commissioner's Guidelines for Federal and ACT Government World Wide Web portals.

The Privacy Act 1988 (C'th) gives rights to individuals in relation to how personal information is handled by the Commonwealth and ACT government agencies. ACT government agencies must comply with the 11 Information Privacy Principles set out at section 14 of the Privacy Act.
