MIDI (musical instrument device interface) is a way to create music on computers. MIDI music is a big part of our lives and we hear it almost everywhere. MIDI music is very easy to make on a standard computer, and a school can engage in high-end production without buying a single item of equipment or software. The Massiva player mentioned in the above documents can be downloaded here (it's freeware!). Just remember to set the OPTIONS - MIDI - OUT to the right settings so you can hear something, then make these the default. Also, press F12 to get the navigator up and running.
