Veterinarian

We interviewed the Veterinarian at Elanora and this is what we found out:- The vet uses a lot of equipment like Stethoscopes, Earscopes( real name otoscope), Thermometers, Eyescopes (real name opthlalmoscope). They use these tools to investigate problems and they also use them for surgery.

To be a vet she had to study Science. She said it was difficult but not impossible. The staff didn't need any training but the vet needed to be at university for at least 5 years.

The veterinarian has two full time bosses and two part time bosses.

The most common animal to operate on is 50% dogs and 50% cats.

The vet said that the easiest animal to operate on is one that doesn't bite!!!

Her working shifts are from 8:00am until 6:30pm from Monday to Friday.

Working on the premises are 1 vet and 1 nurse.

The strangest pets that the vet had to care for are a ferret and a Blue tongue lizard.
