| To Micklefield School, Capetown, South Africa : Dear Mrs Dugmore and 3rd Grade, | From South Africa : Dear Ben and Jason |
| To Micklefield School, Cape Town, South Africa Dear Year 2. | Dear Ben and Jason Rhinos are huge grey animals with thick skin and heavy barrel-shaped bodies. They have short strong legs. It looks a bit like a hippo. Rhinos have one or two curved horns on the top of their noses. Their eyes are small but their ears are large. A rhino uses its horn as a dangerous weapon. It can kill a lion with it. A male rhino sometimes uses its horn to fight with another male rhino. Rhinos also use their horn to dig up soil to look for salt and other minerals. There are 5 groups of rhinos in the world. 2 groups live in countries in Africa and 3 groups live in countries in Asia, like India. Best wishes From Grade 2 Micklefield School |

These are the answers to your questions. Of course there are schools very different from ours and children living in very different conditions. We have just given a computer to a school in the townships where the majority of the homes are corrugated iron shacks and the families are very poor. Perhaps when they have learned how to use their computer they can answer these questions.
