  Mountain gorillas

Mountain gorillas grow up to two metres tall. They also have long arms and are like humans. It is very sad that there are only 630 of them left in the world.

They live in rain forests or dense forests.

Mountain gorillas eat things like bamboo, vegetation, wild celery, stinging nettles, thistles, fruit, leaves and rarely eat humans.

On their fifty-third birthday they are very old. They get pneumonia very often in their lives. Their enemies are leopards, crocodiles and humans.
