HYENA

This picture is from Encarta.

The Hyena can run 45 miles an hour.

The Hyena has long front legs and short stubby back legs. It has a short strong neck with a powerful jaw and a weird howl. It has strong teeth for holding its prey.

It eats aardvarks, antelopes, gazelles and leftovers from what lions and tigers kill.

Its enemies are lions.
