SWAZILAND

What we already knew :

We found it is a country in Africa.

 

What we learned :

Swaziland is roughly oval shaped. The elevation of the land decreases from west to east.


This picture is from Encarta.

The king cancelled the constitution in 1973 and banned all political activity. Under a new constitution in 1978 a parliament with two houses was elected.

The capital is Mbabane.

Their languages are English and Siswati.

Their currency is the South African rand.
