What did we already know?

We knew the name Zimbabwe and we also knew that Zimbabwe is in Africa.

What we learned:

It's close to Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia, South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Malawi, Swaziland, Lesotho.

Zimbabwe's Flag has a little star with a bird and green, yellow, red and black stripes.

The capital is Harare.

The languages are English and native languages.

The religions are Christianity and traditional beliefs.

The population is 10,402,000.

Maize is the most important crop. Many minerals have been exported - chrome, coal, platinum, nickel and asbestos. There is a growing manufacturing industry.
