What is the home for a platypus?

  Platypus

A platypus's shelter is called a burrow.

The platypus uses leaves and the river bank to make its burrow.

The platypus uses its front claws to dig its burrow. It digs a camping burrow and a nesting burrow.

The nesting burrow is lined with leaves.

The male platypus has a sharp poisonous spur on each ankle. They use their spurs to attack other animals. It also plugs its burrow with soil to keep out predators.
