THE ARCTIC HARE IS A SMALL ANIMAL.

It is a master of disguise. In the winter the Arctic hare normally hops into a group so that they won't get eaten by hungry predators. Their fur also changes to white so they can hide in the snow.

The Arctic hare is shy, and in the summer months will stay all alone. If a female has babies then she will go into a group to protect her young. Their summer fur is a browny-grey so they can hide in the Arctic Tundra growth.
