Albert Namatjira

Albert Namatjira was a famous Aboriginal artist.
He had 7 children and a wife.
His tribe:
Namatjira was a full blood member of the Aranda tribe. When he was 18
he broke a traditional law by disappearing with a woman from another
tribe.
How he painted:
Albert Namatjira used water colours to make wonderful paintings of
Australian landscapes which a lot of people from other countries haved
purchased.
The Queen of England:
Albert Namatjira became so well known that in 1954 he was presented to
the Queen of England (Queen Elizabeth II).
