I interviewed the hairdresser, Fran, at Elanora Shops, and this is what I learnt:-

She had to study for 4 years before becoming a hairdresser and she has 3 staff. The working hours are from 9am-5.30pm Monday to Wednesday, Thursday to Friday 9am- 6.30pm and Saturday 8.30- 4pm.

They get 85 to 100 customers per week! They use heaps of equipment. The jobs they do include cutting, perming, colouring, styling and doing makeup.
