 Rice

What we already know about rice: Rice is grown in paddies. Rice is produced in Australia. We eat rice for dinner.

 What we learned.

• Rice contains all the carbohydrate needed in the human diet.

• But to keep healthy we also need protein.

• People sometimes suffer from malnutrition if they eat only rice and not the other essential vitamins and minerals.
