This is the Old Dubbo
Military Museum.

North-Western is the largest region in New South Wales.

The main natural features are Wollemi National Park, Nangar National Park, the Macquarie River and the Lachlan River..

The built features are Dubbo Zoo, Old Dubbo Jail and the Duddo military museum.

Dubbo developed along the bank of the Macquarie River.

The Victorian Gold rush brought overlanders who often had to wait to herd their stock across the swollen river.

The major cities are Peak Hill, Trangie, Dubbo, Narromine, Gilgandra, Coonamble, Coonabarabran and Binnaway.

The major river is the Macquarie river.
