The Opera House
The main natural features in our region are Sydney Harbour, Butterfly National Park and Beaches.

The main built features are the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Centre Point Tower.

The major city in our region is Sydney (Sydney is the capital city of New South Wales).

The major rivers in our region are the Hawkesbury River, Parramatter River, McDonald River and the Nepean River.

There are no mountain ranges in Sydney because Sydney is only gently undulating.

Our region is Sydney.

People would visit our region to visit the Centre Point Tower, the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, our beautiful Sydney Harbour and our lovely beaches.

The similarities between Sydney and Pittwater are schools, libraries and councils. The differences are that in Sydney there are terrace houses, two storey homes, lots of traffic and bars on windows.

Some interesting areas of Sydney are Manly, Kuring-gai, Willougby, Ryde, Mosman, Eastwood, Paramatta, Sydney central, Alexandria, Randwick, Woollahra, Botany, Rockdale, Hurstville, Bankstown, Ashfield, Strathfield and Drummoyne.

Some interesting facts about our region are that Sydney is holding the 2000 Olympic Games and the First Colony was set up in Sydney.
