John Mc Ewan
John was born 2nd of March1900. He was
born in Chiltern, a little Victorian town. He
was 13 when he started work at a telephone
switchboard. He joined the Country Party
and won a federal seat at the age of 34.
Mr McEwan was Prime Minister for only
twenty days because the Governor General
didn't trust him. The coalition didn't trust
him either.
He was in the party called Country. His term
in office was from the 10th of December
1967 to the 9th of January 1968. He became
Prime Minister at the age of 67 and was
Australia's 23rd Prime Minister.
He sadly passed away on the 20th of
November 1980. He was 80.
