OCTOPUS

THIS PICTURE COMES FROM ENCARTA.
It is an octopus but not a blue-ringed one.

A blue ringed octopus is named that because it has blue rings on its body. It can be big or small in the body and has eight legs with sucker discs.

This octopus lives in the sea and on rocks and eats lobster, squid, crabs and fish and sea snails.

The Moray Eel is the enemy of the blue ringed octopus.

Beluga Whales and seals eat some sorts of octopus.
