SUMMER

A perfect time for bushwalking. Flowers cover most of the mountains. Explore Kosciuszko National Park or participate in guided walks & activities.

SPRING

October & November are peaceful months in the village. Cross country skiing & back country skiing on the Main Range shouldn't be missed.

1.Mount Kosciuszko

Mount Kosciuszko is the highest mountain in Australia at a height of 2228 metres high. Despite it being the highest mountain in Australia, it is nothing compared to Mount Everest.

2. Thredbo

Thredbo is a very well known skiing resort. Also well known because of the Thredbo tragedy. Only one lucky survivor, Stuart Diver, a skiing instructor, lived to tell the story.

3. Perisher

Perisher is also a well known skiing resort.

4.Cooma

Cooma is a historic old town. It is the gateway to the Snowy Mountians. Accommodation galore!

5.Jindabyne
