DESCRIPTION: This tree can get up to 20m tall.

HABITAT: It can be found near salt and along larger streams.

FLOWERING:Male and female flowers grow on different trees, they bloom every May to August. This is winter in Australia.

DISTRIBUTION:Coastal areas of NSW.

INTERESTING FACTS: Leaf-teeth are in little groups of 12 to 16 around th stem of each joint. Each nut has thousands of little seeds that you can hardly see, they get blown by the wind and can cause hayfever.
