Rosy Headed Galah

DESCRIPTION

The Rosy Headed Galah has grey wings and tail feathers whilst its head and breast is pink. Its call is a high pitched loud screeching sound.

DIET :
The Rosy Headed Galah eats grass seeds mainly found on the ground.

HABITAT:
The Rosy Headed Galah is found in dry arid areas and small wet lands. It lives in hollow dead branches in gum trees.

DISTRIBUTION:
The Rosy Headed Galah is found mainly in Sydney and but can also be found all over Australia.

INTERESTING FACTS: 
Did you know that Galah means idiot.The Galah lays 3 to 4 eggs with an incubation of 30 days. The young fledge in about 56 days.The male Galah has brown eyes and the female has red eyes.
