Scientific Name:Anthochaera chrysoptera
Habitat:Heathland and Forest with Shrubs.
Description Appearance:Slender Bill, Reddish Brown Iris and spoonshaped feathers.
Food:Nectar 
Description Behaviour:Feeding chicks. The parents look after their chicks very well.
Reproduction:

2 or 3 eggs hatch in 12 days. The young fledge in 16 days.

Hello I am the Brush Wattle Bird, well that is my common name.
My scientific name is Anthochaera chrysoptera.
I have a reddish brown Iris and a slender bill and like living in a Heathland or forest with shrubs.
I am a Honeyeater and I eat nectar.
I like feeding my young ( Pretty conscientious, aren't I?).

INTERESTING FACTS :

When a Brush Wattlebird flies, you can see a chestnut brown flash of colour under its wings.
It is very gentle

Related birds

The Red Wattlebird has red "Wattles" hanging from the sides of its throat. The Brush Wattlebird is smaller and has distinctive white-edged spoonshaped feathers on the back.
