DESCRIPTION:

A straight shrub to 3m tall with a flaky or corky bark. It has short narrow leaves and the flowers look like little white bottle-brushes.

HABITAT:

It lives in wet places, especially around coastal lagoons and swamps.

DISTRIBUTION:

Scattered along coastal zone extending from QLD to Vic and Tas.

FLOWERING:

September-November.

INTERESTING FACTS: 

The bark is like paper and it's easy to peel off.
