You may think the Sphinx is really big like the Pyramids, but it is only the
size of a truck.
For centuries, visitors to Eygpt could see only the head of the Sphinx
because sand covered its body. No one knew what lay beneath the sand.
Some people thought the head had the face of a woman, perhaps a
goddess or Queen.
