Library
The joint-use Berri Library and Information Centre provides students and staff with a unique combination of resources. The BLIC combines the Murray Institute of TAFE's Berri Campus' library, with the Berri Barmera Council's Library and that of GHS's Senior Campus. Computers are freely accessible to surf the Internet, to word process documents and to search the library's catalogue. Librarians are always on hand to provide assistance in gathering information. |

TAFE & Glassey Park
GHS's Senior Campus is conveniently located next to the Murray Institute of TAFE's Berri Campus. This means that students from both institutions can share resources to extend the learning experiences of all. Berri's Glassey Park is also nearby, providing students with large expanses of grass for sports. |
|
Glossop High's Senior Campus boasts excellent subject specific classrooms: |
|
Drama
A drama building provides students with an environment most suited to that subject area. In this specially designed area students can make noise and perform without distractions. |
|
Kitchen
A commercial kitchen provides excellent facilities for hospitality and nutrition students. The kitchen is so good students from TAFE often use it for their own classes. |
|
Science Laboratories
The senior campus boasts three science laboratories; each one is dedicated to either physics, chemistry or biology. This dedication means that only suitable equipment is stored in each lab, and that other materials, such as posters, are also subject specific, focusing students' attention on the task at hand. |
|
Information Technology
GHS is extremely proud of its information technology and computing facilities. While most classrooms have a computer in the senior campus, there are two computer rooms and a further three small computer hubs. Our latest information technology project is a digital video editing suite in the senior campus. |
|
The middle campus has three computing rooms, one of which is a dedicated Computer Aided Design room.
Both campuses utilitise their own intranets and networks to deliver further educational resources.
Students are encouraged to use these facilities to further their education, and staff also use them to facilitate their tasks. |
