For nearly 10 years Glossop High School has:-
- Welcomed Japanese students and teachers as part of the HOMESTAY program. This occurs on an annual basis but was cancelled for 2009 because of the swine flu pandemic. It will resume in 2010.
- Conducted a student and teacher visit to Japan. This has been cancelled in 2009.
We are currently going through an accreditation process which will see us become involved with the SECONDARY GRADUATION PROGRAM. We expect our first enrolment in this program at the beginning of 2010.
Mr Kingsley Watchman, who teachers Japanese, coordinates our International Schooling focus and is ably supported by Mrs Tamara Gilgen, who teaches Spanish, and Mrs Constas, who teaches Greek.
