Interschool Athletics

The rivalry amongst the Riverland's four high schools is fostered by an annual interschool sporting competition. This day long event alternates annually between the schools so that all may receive the home ground advantage. Each school sends its best sports people to compete in a wide variety of events. Traditional events such as shot-put and the 100 metre sprint are joined with team events like the spoke relay and tug-of-war.
