Slim
Beware, beware old slim is afloat
With a big blow he will blow you away
You will not know where you are.

Look out of the sea
I see a butterfly fish
It has a small mouth
And has a spiked back
When you pick it up it will hurt you.
By Nathan Z

The Hammerhead
Look out, look out,
Here comes a hammerhead
It swam through my hair
It got you instead
He's a legend I tell you
A bad one too!
We hate him too
He ate my brother on the ocean
Instead of me
By Nathan R

Seals have patches
So be kind to them
And they'll be kind to you
They'll be your friend and very nice.
By Melissa M

In the water there laid a fish
Washing a dish
In a flash it found a hat
And then it got a mat
And made a toy cat
Made of the mat
And put it in a hat
And called his friend cat
To come out of the mat
By Nicolette

The Jollytail
The jollytail failed
Because it wailed its tail
I don't know why it wiggled
Because it was wild
By Steven

Crystal
Beware, beware of crystal the fish
She will blow you away
With one big swish
By Kristin

Spike
Spike is swimming in the water
Looking for food in order
Spike the shark is dark
With a torch on a tooth
You will die with laughter in proof.
By Alannah

Grade 4AB at Macgregor State Primary School.

A fish with sparkling scales,
Swimming around with the humpback whales.
Joyfully playing silly games,
Animals calling out their names.

Starting in an underwater race,
Where fish'll be swimming at a rapid pace.
Stopping at the finish line,
Was the fish with the sparkling shine.

Zooming like a silver arrow,
Is the fish that was so narrow.
Now he's finally won the race,
He's proudly showing a happy face.
