Our school is situated in the very small town of Hillview in the picturesque Christmas Creek Valley, 30 kilometres south of Beaudesert and about 100 kilometres south of Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, Australia. Our school is nestled on the side of a hill with lots of beautiful trees and sporting facilities.
It is also very close to the Lamington National Park and the site of the famous 1937 Stinson Aircraft crash and the rescue of the survivors by Bernard O'Reilly of O'Reilly's Guesthouse, Green Mountains and many local heroes of the area.
The school celebrated its centenary in 1987. Orginally it was known as the Christmas Creek State School.
Our students are known for their sporting prowess. We have won the Christmas Creek Cup every year since 1989. Everyone is also very good at art.
