The collection of about 30,000 books
supports the professional, curriculum and recreational needs of students
and staff.
Many departments have additional
faculty collections of teaching resource materials and textbooks.
Besides books and other print resources
we have organised and/or increased the accessibility of many digital
resources.

Videotapes and DVDs -- more than
1500 programmes used in all subject areas

Digital video cameras, tape-recorders,
CD player, digital still cameras, colour photocopier, colour printer

Fiction -- the collection caters
for a wide range of reading abilities and interests, from picture books
to adult novels
Staff needs are also covered, particularly
in our quarterly reading list.
Thematic and subject listings are
available, and we welcome special requests on unusual topics.

Reading programmes -

Students in years 7 and 8 take part in the Premier's Reading Challenge.
The Australian Reader's Challenge is also open to both students and staff
Great Books programme is for students who wish to deepen their reading
experiences

-- we have a small core collection. Current issues are kept on display
while back copies are stored on the mezzanine.

Advertiser, The Australian, The Australian Financial Review are available.

Newsbank is a newspaper database which gives access to past issues of
all SA newspapers, as well as The Australian

Posters -- general interest posters
are available for classroom use and displays. These are located in Dewey
order in the picture cabinet.
