LOCATING INFORMATION
Step 2 in the Information Process
RESOURCES OVERVIEW Important questions to ask:
Where can I go to find information on my topic?
What kind of information is best or most appropriate?
How much information do I need?
How straightforward, or complex should the information be?
What keywords will I use for searching?
Think about the different kinds of resources which could be useful. It is important to use a variety of resources, both print and digital.
It is useful to keep records or notes of where you have checked for information and what you still have to do.

KEY WORDS

Make a list of these before you start

If our library does not have the magazine you require, we can order your article.  Ask one of the library staff for assistance.

NEWSPAPERS
If your topic is very current, you could browse through recent issues. However, a better way is to use an Internet database such as Electric Library.
