Reflections
[written Friday afternoon before leaving]
I'm sitting in a room
To think of things to do.
I'm on a writers' camp,
And so are you.
We're here to have a good time.
We're here to have fun,
But most of all we're here
To write with everyone.
There are lots of famous Authors,
There are lots of them here,
And every time they crack a joke
Everybody gives a cheer.
We're here to develop skills
Instead of taking pills,
So we can be good writers
To write about tie-fighters [?]
Fun and scary moments,
There's lots of them here and there
They say there is a ghost
That walks up and down the stairs.
It's nearly time to leave
Damn! I'm a little bit peeved.
It was lots of fun with the Cam-Club kids.

I'm in the small pool at the end of a slide at Sea World. The current is pulling me under the slide and the lifeguard is about to jump in after me! "I'm all right!" I yell to the lifeguard.
I can see the people at Sea World looking at me [how embarrassing!] and now there is another kid coming down the slide!!!!! "I'm coming in," replied the lifeguard.
I can hear people go on talking and laughing, and the lifeguard is talking on the Walkie Talkie to the lady at the top of the slide!!!
I can feel the water rushing past my hands and chest. I am really scared, but I really hope the lady lifeguard doesn't jump in after me. [ I will be so embarrassed!!!]
